| Starting from September 16th, Belgrade will host the European Basketball Championship, Eurobasket Belgrade 2005. The team of Serbia & Montenegro is one of favorites to win the gold medal. Our lads bear the heavy burden, the expectations are high, amplified by recent triumphs of our water polo men (world champions), good results our volley ball team have achieved, and (surprisingly) fine matches of our footballers, contesting for a trip to the World Championship Finals in Germany next year. |
