Primaries: language and society. WORK HISTORYAugust 2004 – Collaborator to the Center for publishing activities (CID) of the Faculty of Economics. November 2001 – March 2002 Research assistant to Dr Raimund Dietz, consultant at Policy and Legal Advice Centre (PLAC). March 1999 – December 2003 Administrator in the Faculty of Economics' Electronic Center (ERC). SKILLS- Organization: In my role as the administrator, I had various responsibilities. Technical support for more than 200 (two hundred) personal computers which I conducted with an aid of department colleagues, was one of such tasks. Networking was diverse and it featured Microsoft Windows, Windows NT and Linux based platforms. My basic duty was taking care of interruptible work of main communication flows: Web and email servers, and maintaining two of the Faculty’s official Internet sites.
- Communication: Kindness and customer care were necessary in my everyday contact with the people. My knowledge of two foreign languages allows me to communicate with foreigners without a problem, and to focus on what is really important – getting the job done.
- Interpersonal: I have occupied a position based on a project principle of working, where personal initiative is very important. I have experience in team cooperation as well. Many of former would not have been possible without quality relationship with colleagues and superiors.
- Responsibility: I assisted Dr Dietz at PLAC in preparing a study on the “Competitiveness of FRY and 10 other Central and East European Countries”. This voluminous study required complex calculations and keeping with the strict timelines.
As a collaborator of the Center for publishing activities, I participate in preparing of study books and scientific papers to be published. This activity demands commitment and tasks fulfillment in due time intervals.
